Have you read the newspaper reports about the release of the NIDS-CRAM Wave 1 research? The National Income Dynamics Study – Coronavirus Rapid Mobile Survey (NIDS-CRAM) is a broadly nationally-representative panel survey of 7,000 South African individuals conducted every month.

Head over to the CRAM website https://cramsurvey.org/reports/ to access any of the 11 Wave 1 reports. EduCOVID TIG members may want to check out especially the Welfare paper on children.

All data collected under the CRAM study is freely available for download and use on the DataFirst Open Data Portal Thanks to the Allan and Gill Gray Philanthropy, FEM Education Foundation, and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.
