Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

● A Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, or Programme

Management.

● Minimum of 6 years of work experience in Monitoring & Evaluation.

● Experience leading and managing a MEL team and providing ongoing coaching, mentorship

and technical guidance to team members, as well as managing a team of technical experts /

consultants.

● Extensive experience working in the Non-Profit sector.

● Solid experience in designing, establishing, and managing monitoring systems, ensuring data

quality, and managing data-intensive programmes.

● Experience in designing and undertaking various types of research or evaluations.

● Solid understanding and experience of programme management.

● Strategic management and supervisory skills.

● Demonstrated ability to portray complex data sets in easy-to-understand format

● Ability to drive knowledge production and sharing as a significant contribution to the sector.

● Demonstrated written, presentation and communications skills in English.

Desirable

● Experience with Google Data Studio and Google Analytics

● Experience in working in an education and/or Early Childhood Development environment

● Experience in presenting and publishing (in print or online) analytical materials to a range of expert and non-expert audiences

● Ability to train colleagues and partners in the purpose and use of MEL tools and systems.
