Background

BRIDGE manages knowledge which flows from and between our members and our Communities of Practice, and shares this with the broader educational community. Our community of practice meetings in the different focus areas are the primary mechanism through which we gather, distil, co-create, develop and distribute different kinds of knowledge, resources and tools for various sectors.

The Knowledge Hub includes a range of ‘knowledge products’, often related to the BRIDGE Focus Areas, to help with these challenges. These are summarised below.

Meeting Highlights: Overviews and highlights of presentations and discussions at community of practice meetings, serving as a record of topics covered and debates held.

Presentations: Powerpoint presentations from community of practice meetings or other events.

Tools & Resources: These can take various forms and have a number of purposes. Tools, templates and guidelines will help in the practical application of various tasks or strategies in education contexts; other resources share information, such as policy summaries, reports on specific projects, or other conceptual resources. These knowledge products may have been shared at CoP meetings, co-created by CoP members and BRIDGE, or developed by BRIDGE in response to a need.

Maps: These are databases of systemic information, such as a map of provision in a specific sector with provider details. These maps help to keep a sector informed and promote collaboration by making information visible.

Impact stories: Narratives from BRIDGE CoP members or participants, about major learnings they have taken from an interaction, or on the impact community of practice activities have had on their practice.

Podcasts: Recordings of relevant radio-based discussions; podcast Key Points as summaries of discussions on education issues during our partnership with Cliff Central Leadership Platform are also available.

Videos: Videos of selected CoP presentations or key events such as Axis Summit activities.
